Dear Participants,

Prof. Maurizio Caciotta

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 11th International Conference on Environment and Electrical Engineering (EEEIC), that, this year, will be held during a cruise in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea, starting from Venice, coming to Athens.

Along the line traced last year, the Organizing Committee aims at involving Industrial Partners to participate at the conference.

The goal is to create a meeting point between different perspectives: research by academia and engineers and the industrial world, allowing development of  innovative solutions.

Also this year we will host  numerous exhibitions, which number grows from year to year.

By visiting the EEEIC exhibition area, I hope, you will have a chance to familiarize yourselves with the latest developments in the field of the energy systems and environment protection.

This Conference pledges to deliver current and relevant technical information for energy system professionals. It also provides opportunities to industry leaders, managers, academia, and government officials to exchange ideas on technology trends and best practices, with a strong presence of participants from the industry.

This conference is an excellent opportunity to meet people from all over the world, share the views and create opportunities for networking, collaboration, sharing of technical information and  building of trust relationships internationally.

I sincerely hope that the idea to organize this conference on a cruise ship, gives you the opportunity to relax, both for the beauty and comfort offered by the ship that we have chosen, that for trips to places that are just marvellous.

I am looking forward to meeting you all in Venice in May 2012 at what promises to be a most stimulating and enjoyable event of the year!

With kindest personal regards,

Maurizio Caciotta
Conference Chairman
